Major Electrical(harness?) Issues!!

Ok, to start off, I have a 93 Coupe, KADE, SAFC intake and exhaust. I put in an after market temp guage last week, got done, and it started running like POOOO. I just idled like crap and when it was cold would bogg realy bad until it warmed up. I had to disconnect the TPS just to get it to drive, so at first i thought is was the TPS, however, the SAFC said that the TPS was reading correctly, so that stumped me, to get it to run correct i had to fully advance my timing (running 101 octane at the moment). And put in new plugs cause the old ones had fouled out so much they were black. Then, went to leave work, started it up, then it died. tried to start it again, and no love, like it had no spark. Started checking fuses, Engine control fuse was blown, yanked the horn fuse, put it in, tried to start it again, and it popped it immidiatly!!!

So i have tracked the wire down, and where i can see it, its not shorting on anything, but i cant see the wire under the dash, and REALLY dont want to have to remove the dash, my guess is that that part of the harness is rubbing something and making one of the sensor wires short, and now the power wire, however, there is soooooo much wire to go through, that is NOT easily accessible(sp). Any one been there, if so, what did you find?

Thanks for any help, Im really getting frustrated, its the first time I have ever considered letting a shop do something to my car, and that makes me angry....
