Big Brakes

Okay I just started working at Wilwood and I'm trying to find out what you guys want. Please if you guy want any of these ideas post a reply so i can show the demand.

1. big brake upgrade for a 4 lug? if so fit in what size rim? (16 min or 17min)
2. two piece rotor or one piece for 300z upgrade?
3. 4 or 6 piston upgrade for 5 lug?
4. How much would you pay for any of these ideas?

6 piston fronts, 13" x 1.25" front 2 piece rotors
4 piston rears, 12" x 1.25" rear 2 piece rotors
seperate mechanical parking brake.

Low price too, like ArizonaZCar's too.

1.Yes, there are s13s, and non se s14s, that are all 4 lug stock. 16min rim, try to save us time, and money, specially on the rims, (tires are expensive too)

2. once piece, keep things simple

3. whichever is more effective, ive seen huge 4 pistons that are more efficent than smaller piston 6 piston calipers, and vise versa. just dont waste r&d on 10 options.

4. $800 - $1500 range

1. an upgrade that could fit stock 95 SE 16" wheels would be great
2. one peice rotors are fine and would keep the price down i imagine
3. four piston like the narrow mount dynalite for 5 lug is def enough

I'd be super interested in a two piece rear rotor for the Z32. Those stockers are heavy as sh!t. Also, I would hope that they are still vented like the OEM rears. Calipers I could care less. Z32 rear calipers do the trick IMO and AP racing is where its at up front.

BTW, congrats on the job. What exactly do you do there? And how did you manage to get in? I'd love something like that.

What's the weight difference between a 2 and one piece rotor?

I'd be interested to know that as well. I know most of the mass is in the braking surface area of the rotor but I think they could at least be 3lbs lighter.

I can see that for a 13+" disc but for the 11'sh sized OEM Z32 rears I can't imagine that much saving. Each OEM probably weighs a tad more than 20lbs.
