I have heard a few people say really good things about the B&M shifter but it is pricey *$256 compared to $99 for the OBX* But I want good throws and firm confident shifts so I think I am going w/ the B&M....Now to talk the wife into it

The OBX is a nice peice for the money. Price vs performance you can't beat it.

I'm going to be replacing my OBX with a B&M sometime in the next few months. The shifter being as important as it is, I shouldn't have skimped on it...the OBX just isn't good enough for me.

I just got the obx about a month ago, and it does the job very nicely. Feels Very short and tight at first, but then you get numb to the new throw distance, and it gets better broken in and some of the play comes back. Overall WELL worth the $80 I paid from PDM.

BTW that is the only place I would get it. Not only is Don cheaper, but he also supplies zip ties, and a new Nissan OEM Rubber boot, and a new OEM nylon bushing for it. This stuff doesn't normally come with it.

check out my install here:

Nrcooled posted the ~price of the B&M.

Here Is the best place I've seen to get the b&m short shifter.

IIRC they are made in the USA.

Edit: Here's a link to Grant's B&M install.
