Huge Tires on Stock wheel coilover question
Heres my issue, when I bought my SE wheels (s14) they came with huge tires 225/55/r16, which I liked because they had tons of thread and were big for the winter. I'm getting Stance coilovers and I'm not sure if they will fit with my tires.
Can anyone tell me if they will or the best way to determine if they will without actually installing the coilovers? |

gonna have to pay to play...
BTW, you want skinner tires for the winter... You can always get bolt on spacers to give you better wheel clearance with the new coilover. The original offset on the S14 SE wheels should be quite high (I can't recall the exact number), so some 25mm spacers will do you some justice. So, to summarize... you will need to put on the coilover and see the actual clearance. If some stance owners would chip in to the discussion, that would be great.

I have the following setup:
S14, Stance coilovers, 225/40/18 +30 F, 245/40/18 +33 R No rubbing, No issues at all. You should be a-ok with your setup. Infact there was less clearance with the stock suspension because the oem spring perches are so damn big. You should even be able to tuck those in pretty good with no adj. rucas and no fender roll or pull. |
