so anyway.. i thought this would be an interesting topic to discuss.. if you were going to turbo your own car what parts would you use..?
i guess id start it off like this... a nicely sized T4.. .63?.. maybe.. i can live with the lag.. im still trying to decide between the rev hard and fmax manifold.. 550 injectors.. jwt ecu reprogram... greddy type S blowoff.. and a decent sized greddy or spearco intercooler.. so what would yall use in your ideal turbo set up?.. |

Here's my theoretical setup:
--T3/T4 turbo T31 std turbine .82 A/R 50 trim T04E compressor --Revhard Manifold or Custom --Tial Wastegate --Blitz DD BOV --Blitz turbo Timer --Spearco Intercooler --Turbo XS boost controller ($80!, I don't need a fancy one, well, maybein the future) --300zx fuel injectors (370cc), MAF, and fuel pump --JWT ECU --Custom downpipe and I/C piping This setup should cost less than $3000. I plan on getting the components one by one, so it doesn't seem to cost that much. This setup should be good for right under 300hp, hopefully. |
