Engine Bay Fuel Pressure Gauge

Just Curious, anyone using an engine bay fuel pressure gauge? I've been searching around and most are for mounting inside the cockpit.

I'm just looking for something I can tee off the fuel line between the fuel filter and rail for adjusting the nismo fpr. Want to mount it in bay since I dont need to see the gauge all the time.

Anyone have any suggestions?

THe only thing i found were the B/M gauges but those were for honda and evos only.

They're located in Long Beach, CA as well off of Cherry Ave. Ask for Ash or Hung. They have the liquid filled FPR gauge and the T to run the gauge, but you need the 1/8 npt barbs to fit the fuel lines. Our fuel lines are 5/16" equivilent. I'm running the set up with a sard fpr and it works great.

Any other questions?

I was wondering, you are suppossed to have the guage inbetween the fpr and the fuel rail right? I assume you are tryinng to measure fuel pressure at the injectors. do you have any pics of how you have your set up? I was planning on gettin a nismo fpr for my CA, but I couldn't run a guage, so yea, I'm alittle confused, lol.

Buy a megan one, you can get it from Phase2 or optionimports, but you replace it with an adjustable FPR with a gauge build right into the FPR via block off plate. Im my option, being in the engine bay works fine....

You would need one of these, correct? If you were planning on running the stock fuel rail of course, which I plan on doing, aftermarket fuel rails for a CA18 are not exactly commonplace.

That allows you to run the universal. I'm not sure if the Nismo Type A FPRs fit KA, but was designed for the SR. And SRs have their FPR on the front of the motor instead of the rear like the KA.

240trainee i have it inline with my rail and fuel filter. I'll try and get pictures later tonight.

We use the XRP fuel pressure gauges for inside engine bay use. They are fairly inexpensive at around $40. Let me know if you want or need one. I can get it to you.

You know I have thought about the megan one but I was already set on ordering a nismo type A (so I dont need the bracket to relocated fpr). I have s13 sr so using the type A suits me fine but im curious to see drift's setup as well if you dont mind. Would love a liquid filled gauge since its perfect for measruring fuel.

I will prolly go to the place you're talking about when I'm back in long beach.

Currently taking summer school in san luis obispo so I'm not within reach so to say lol.
