i came across some info that tein actually publishes dyno graphs for coilovers. it's even displayed in the owners manual, although in their japanese versions. and their all on their website:
http://www.tein.co.jp/ti/makerdat.html pick a make then pick a car. seems pretty comprehensive of their entire lineup.
anyhoo, i pick a couple that might be of interest the zilvia community:
tein super drift for s13
only shows the setting (front on left, rear on right) for the stiffest setting. looks pretty digressive, or that's just me trying to justify my purchase.

tein super drift (black) vs HE's (purple) for the front
the two graphs look pretty similar. the super drifts have a bit more rebound (at least that's what i think it is) than the HE but slightly less compression compared to HE at hardest.
although it doesn't showt he range of adjustment for the super drifts, I think it should be safe to assume that it would have similar properties to the HE. adjustment is mainly on rebound and the adjustment does make a difference.
i also checked out some of the other ones. For a top of the line model, the Type RS has pretty weak damping, especially when compared to the super drifts, both of which run 10/8 rates. so does the Flex, but it's valved for softer springs.
