My friend and I were talking today and first of all my auto is still leaking a little and I have decided to do a manual to auto swap.  Well we figured to just swap the engine also.  So can a twin turbo engine from a 300zx fit an a 89 240sx.  if so what do I need and how do we put in all together.

I'll say what i've heard from previous experience:

I've heard it CANNOT fit without major modifications because the engine mounts are in the wrong place, the 300zx engine is too wide and something else i can't remember.

Anything is possible with enough money, but you'd be better off swapping in a ca18 or the sr20.
