clutch problem not resolved completely

For the past couple months my clutch has been weird... there is a lot of end play ... about half the length of the clutch travel, there is no pressure. I did a search on here and asked some friends and they all said to change the clutch master cylinder. I took it to a shop and changed out the master and slave cylinder today and it didn't seem to change much. There is slightly more pressure, after the half way point, but until then, it's the same.. no pressure.

Does this have to do with my clutch or flywheel or anything? I plan on getting a new clutch, either oem or aftermarket, but I was expecting the master cylinder to fix the problem. The mechanic told me that the master cylinder was infact leaking.

Another bit of info on the problem, after long drives, or during really hot weather, the clutch did get worse. When kept in a cool garage or under shade, it wouldn't be as bad.
