i have an r200 diff. i took it apart and removed the ring gear. i put the ring gear on the r200v internal lsd.

i didn't pay attention to the shims when they fell out.

before i put it back together i need to know.

1) what order do the shims go back on? (big one then small one or vice versa?)
2) how to tell which side the shims go on. (which side in the drivers side and passenger side)

i don't have the special tools oviously... so and info would be golden.

They're called shims for a reason. Just sticking random shims back in without a measuring is a great way to tear up a diff.

ummm... thanks for bringing that to my attention... but i already know that. that's why i'm posting up. and btw i'm using the same shims. not random ones. i just needed to know the order.
