Sr20 Downpipe

I have a 95 ka24de that im working with for my sohc to dohc swap. The problem I have is that the manifold on 95 wont bolt up to my sohc downpipe.

I was wondering if a SR20 downpipe would bolt up to the s14 manifold and to my exhaust.

sweet deal...what size are the stock ones? 2.5 inches?

If it turns out that the sr20 dp can be used with s14 ka manifolds, ill buy it.

stock is def not 2.5 inches, id say 2.

i know that DOHC KA downpipe and SR downpipe are the same. so i believe yor DOHC motor will fit a SR downpipe well

SR downpipe will fit the S14 manifold however the flange at the back is clocked differently. You'll either need an aftermarket cat with floating flanges or a test pipe that you can cut, rotate, and weld back together.

I highly recommend against the floating flange. It's the type that swivels around instead of being fixed.

I snapped mine clean off the flange just driving around normally. Then the catback fell off.

Now I run a PDM Racing cat and I'm much happier. I highly recommend them, or at least get a muffler shop to weld one on for you.

yeah if you want to install an sr downpipe on a ka. Your going to need something with reclocked flanges on the cat.
