I've been working lots and lots. The national convention is coming up pretty soon, I gotta make sure I'm rich enough to make it down there. Me and S14Guy (Mike) are going, and we're gonna drive through half of the country &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>. Should be fun. Are many of you all going?

well to respond to all your reasons for not going I am gonna use S13Grl as an example.

#1 S13Grl lives in Illinois wich is about same distance

#2 She doesnt have a CA or SR or KA-T (unless she is keeping it a seceret)

#3 She has a stock car too

I'd go with a stock car if I could afford to go out there...and BTW, I would bother going if I couldn't do the track stuff...the show/meet doesn't really interest me too much, racing around a track with a bunch of other 240's definately give me a hard on <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

california sounds fun (i'm driving there next year in my blazer for a week or so), but i don't like 240SX's enough to drive a total of 5 days roundtrip just for a weekend convention when my car isn't even comparable so nobody wants to see it, and i've seen SR's and KA-T's before. people say "just fly out there, it's the people that make the club not the cars, this guy's flying out from -----". no i've always been afraid of airplanes <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> &nbsp; i've been to 6 240SX club meets, and i went to the 2001 convention in Missouri and Kansas and i probably wouldn't drive further than 300 miles in either direction for any club meet, so basically, my options are Kansas City or Chicago for the rest of my 240 days <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

I live in MI, and tho its a TON of miles to drive to CA in my 240, I'd still love to go. &nbsp;But I got laid off and I dont know if my money situation is gonna be good for a while (I cant find anything right now and I'm gonna have to take a break with mods on the car). &nbsp;

and have turbo 240sx
92' 240sx coupe SE- HUD display. t3/t04e 50 trim, .63 ar. equal length manifold-with turbo on bottom, 2.5" dp. 2.25" intercooler piping to heezy polished intercooler-(but in that stupid small opening of my bumper). delta gate. greddy Type S bov. FMU, fuel pump, braided lines etc etc. oh my car has modified bomex sideskirts, and nitehawk black pearl new paint, BAse coat/clear coat lowered on sprint springs/kyb shocks. clean car. none of that ricey shit. no sticker shit, no white bumper/black. no primered junk.
Clean turbocharged 92' 240sx.

So where is this meet? i would like to meet other people into 240sx's. maybe more turbo 240sx's out there anyone from San DIego that has turbo 240sx? lemme know. laterz

I would be going, but the same weekend is my family reunion, and a couple years ago I promised to never miss another one, as a couple years back, I skipped one, and lo and behold, my grandfather passed away a couple months later. &nbsp;totally regret not going. &nbsp;

plus, I'm getting married next April to a girl whom my family has never met...and I'll be taking her down there (sacramento) to introduce and all.

but I really wish I could go...my car is about 95% ready for track...pretty much just need new tires. &nbsp;I have new brakes(rotors, calipers, pads, and lines) going on wednesday. &nbsp;with that and the rest of my mods...I'm sure my car would be fun...not as fun as the turbo cars...but still fun. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>
