Need help on mounting USDM S14 Kouki foglights on a JDM S14 Kouki front bumper

I read somewhere that you can use your old USDM S14 Kouki foglights on the JDM S14 front bumper, but I tried mounting them on and the stock brackets don't fit. Can anybody enlighten me as how this is supposed to work or do I have to get some kind of special bracket?

I don't have that trim, but from what I understand, that trim is not used to mount the foglights.

you need to bend the stock one or make a custom bracket
the trim is just a trim. the bracket is what mounts the fogs to the bumper support.

looks like you need the jdm bracket. The fogs are the same but the bracket looks different. Just custom them somehow

What I did was took the brackets off and got some 1.5 inch wide piece of Aluminum from Home Depot and cut and bent my own brackets. The aluminum are like 16 gauge, really thin.
