I'm having electrical problems with my car. My temperature guage goes out of whack when I turn the car on, then will jump back down gradually. During driving, when I push the brake pedal, every needle on my guage cluster jumps (except for gas) and my CD player switches off and turns back on quickly. My mechanic told me this is because of a voltage regulator on the back of my guage cluster that was problematic for other year/model Nissans with the same electronic setup: Stanza, and the compact trucks. Problem is, when I called the dealership asking for a voltage regulator for my 240, he said they didn't make it for that year. WTF?!?!? Helpful words are appreciated if any can be given. Thanks in advance.
