HELP!!! car wont start

sorry if this is in the wrong section

Ok so i just got a new battery and installed, everything was great till just now.

I went back to start the car and it wouldnt even turn over. When i turn the key the lights and all come on, so i have power. But it just wont turn over.

What could be the problem ?

ok.. some details needed

did you replace the battery because the car wouldn't start / lost power / etc.
did you drive the car after replacing the battery and THEN it wouldn't start
or did the car simply not start after installing the new battery

Check all your ground wires.
Check your starter, make sure the positive terminal is connected good, and that the ground on your starter is in place aswell.

check your grounds to your chasis.

sounds like its just battery wires not connected. no power going to the starter to even turn.

check the small plug on the starter.. make sure your ground strap is good on your motor. check for a good clean connection from you main cable to your starter is good and CLEAN

just make sure your starter is even getting power to begin with. do you hear your starter click? and as it was stated above, did the car run before the new battery? becuase if all you did was simply replace the battery... that consists of taking the terminals off and putting the new battery in and putting the terminals back on... if it was as simple as that and your having problems you may have eaisly shorted something.

yeah your rite i was gonna say the same thing its the groundings that are loose. or might be the grounding to the starte thats y.

Yea that small harness plug was the reason why my car wouldnt even start.
