i was surfin the web and see people that have companys that import used cars from japan, its tells ( different sites all say same) that they sell and export them because that they tax for having used/old cars in japan because strict environmental laws, but the price seems too good to be true, shipping it is like 6k but when a 92 nissan gt-s is $3,500 it seems like a hell of a deal, am i the only one thinking this?

There is a reason why people are not doing this. Too much paperwork and money is involved.

I know why. They don't do it because they SEARCHED Zilvia and found out that it will take too much paperwork and money involved. Also, in the end, most of the so-called "registered" imports aren't legit.

It a breeze to import JDM cars in Canada...15 yrs or older and you are good to go...U.S. has different laws concerning importing of a non-usdm vehicle. I own a importing company in Canada....I've heard of a few JDM cars in the U.S. and for some of them the paperwork and hassle is worth it, to have a very unique car!!

i suggest u have mods delete this before u get more bad rep. but to answer your question, yes, it is difficult to have cars older than 1990 there-for the average person.

really? when I bought mine in Japan, I spent about $800.00 on it. the people I bought it from where about to pay a recycler $200.00 to take it away. There was absolutley nothing wrong with the car, it was just useless by Japanese standards..
