Nissan Coupe

Just wanted some advice before I consider this car fully. I found a Nissan 240sx 1990 coupe and here are the details that were posted for it. I asked the guy and its a tow company place and so i think the car is a lien sale. Any advice on these kind of deals are the good or should i stay away completely? I mean i know to check the body for rust and all. Black 2dr, 2.4 liter 4cyl Automatic, 12/06 reg, 185k miles, looks, runs & drives fine, fotos available. O and he wants 900. Thanks guys looking forward to some help here.

I bought my 95 with 12x,xxx from a towing yard for $400. The state gives the title the to tow yard after like 32 days or something like that, thats what my friend was telling me

They put a lien on the title, making it legal for THEM to sell the car should the owner not legally sign it over to them as a payoff to or actually paying their exhorbitant towing/storage fees.
The owner of a lien can sign a title off to the new owner without trouble, as I understand it, that is why towyards around here have auctions quite often, I know someone who has gotten cars from those a few times, turned around and flipped them for WAAAAAYYY more than he paid

i flipped my s13 that way, but man, paperwork was a bitch. anyways, for an auto s13 with that many miles for $900? c'mon man, go on c-list, or go to the bay area, u can find good deals there. i dont recommend lien sales, only if u can make more than 1000 dollars off of it if u flip it.
