I've been looking for a fairly cheap 95+ to replace my 91 FB for about 2 months now. And when i see a decent one I call or email depending on the info givin. Most of the time when i call i leave a message. And you know probly 3/4 of my emails are never replied to, and probly 4/5 phone calls are never returned. This just pisses me off, you would think that if someone took the time to put something up for sale they could at least have hte decency to reply and say sorry its sold or whatever. Alright thats it.... Its off my chest...

I had this dilemma last year when I sold my car.  You could either call everyone back and tell them sold or just wait until they quit calling.  It was a lose-lose situation from my perspective.

Best way was to leave a message on my answering machine, "Sorry it's sold..." and not answer the phone until a week after the ad ran.  Until you hear that, keep trying!  Maybe they still have it b/c no one can reach them and they don't return calls.

same thing happened to me when i was looking for another 240SX. a 95 or 96 actually. when i finally got a hold of them, they'd always say 'uhh, i sold that car already'. sometimes when people place ads, they'll pay for 3 weeks of advertising, but it will get sold in the first week. but they could at least write back through email saying they sold the car.

I went through the EXACT same thing when i was looking for my 240. I finally just went to an auto broker and just had them find me one. Its alot cheaper that way too. i got mine for 9k and it had 82k miles!
