hard right turn makes rear tire feel like going over a bump

when i make a 90 degree or harder right turn my car feels like im going over a small curb or something, with the passenger rear tire.
any idea what could be causing this?
i have 350z 17 inch wheels and megan coilovers if that helps.

Does it do the same thing with the LR wheel when you make hard lefts?

how low is your car? my friend had that... not sure if it is the same thing, he had a miata, and it was from his sway bar hitting soemthing...

i had it (spring and shock setup) and mine was due to the spring in a bad position, and it just banged and vibrated... i had to turn the spring around in a different position, and it went away... mine was in both directions...

jack your rear end up and check for play at the axle, if there is play your axle bearing is likely broken, and will need to be replaced.

I think its because of your megan coilovers.

lol Megan coilovers MUST be the culprit!

j/k ~ it's most likely a rub caused by a tie rod/sway bar/axle (worst case) that's not attached right or waaaay out of position. Jacking up the car and moving stuff around as much as you can will probably show you where the problem is.

If it is your axle bearing then you would get shaking more then occasionally. It should progressively get worse at higher speeds. You can lift your car and shake the wheel. If there is play then it needs to be replaced.

Don't go buy stuff you don't need. Quit being lazy and jack up your car and check. You could have something loose and that would be pretty dangerous driving like that. Also check your coilovers and make sure everything is snug.
