trouble starting under cold conditions
Ok first things first i have a s14 black top in a s14 chassis . My car runs rich ..... this i know . I am maybe leaning towards coolant temp sensor or maybe my idle air control valve . I checked the idle air and basically adjusted the rpm lower cause it was around 1-1300 rpm . The car has brand new denso iridiums.... i am gonna check to make sure they are the right plugs as i did not do the swap. From what i am thinking i may have a cold start injector going out and just flooding the engine . As i start the car it has fuel as i can hear the walbro ... kick in ... and i turn the car over and it tries and tries like its flooded and when i wait another 2 min then crank the car up it fires fine but then idles at like 1500-2k rpm for like 5 minutes as if the car is 10 degrees out . Now i am in georgia and the weather at 7 :00 is like 45 - 50 degress out ... any suggestions people ?
