Those are Subaru Vivio's  the REX part of it just means they are turbo. They are 3 cyclinder. They are K cars in Japan they are small compact and cheap to JCI and maitain.

it looks more like FWD's to me.. notice how he pulls his e brake rapidly while going through that turn sideways? and notice how they put smaller profile tires on the rear.. so the rear end can loose grip easily...plus look closely to the rear tires when the car slides... they stop and turn.. stop and turn.. stop and turn....
