s14 Fuel pump is extremely loud

I realise I posted about noises a week back but this one is so annoying im thinking of taking it out after spending almost $200 (cdn) on it. Its so loud you can hear it while music is playing. It seriously gives me a headache. its aftermarket but stock LPH. Would sound deadening help? if so where would I put it.. any tricks/tips? I feel sorry for people in the back seat.

If it's the normal fuel pump "whine", you can try putting some dynamat over the trunk sheetmetal (under the carpet), where it covers the fuel tank. I don't know why you can hear it over any music, your car must be pretty damn quiet inside... my road noise (even without exhaust) completely blocks out any fuel pump noise, from the pump itself or the fuel rail.

Its a loud HUMMM.. if I bump the music loud of course I can't hear it but I can't do that all the time and my sub/amps are installed yet because im to lazy to drill a hole for a power wire. Talk radio is the worst, if im trying to find out whats happening in the latest game all I can hear is HUMMMMmmmmmmmm.

My car is very quiet with the stock exhaust and I like it that way. Maybe I should pull the damn thing out of my tank and dynamat the PUMP lol.. but seriously I might go buy an OEM Nissan one because ive heard they are quiet.

... Wow.. Who neg repped me for this? you need anger managment with your childish comment. judging by the answers it was a valid question and I searched but wasnt satisfied with the results. I really dont see what the problem is. I mean shit ive owned my 240 for a couple months you would think I could get some fucking slack with my questions. Not everyone on here has owned a dozen 240s and pulls engines in his spare time.

Loud pump? aww.. poor you. Hahaha
Options:
1. Don't modify your car.
2. Get an OEM pump.
3. Deal with noise.

1. I haven't modified my car at ALL
2. It's a stock replacement, just not Nissan oem
3. I got lots of noises and will have to deal with them but this one seems exessive

thanks for the ideas

my stock pump is loud as hell and always has been.
the only thing that drowns it out is road noise.
going on what... 3-4 years now?
