Anyone using the Greddy T78 manifold on USDM S13?

I'm getting ready to drop in my SR I brought from Japan into the 91 240sx I picked up...was just wondering if anyone else in the US was using a Greddy T78 manifold on their LHD S13 & if there were any clearance problems with the steering linkage? I've found an old post of a guy who had a T78 in an S14, but the article didn't specify what manifold he was running. I'd hate to get it inside the engine bay & find out it just won't fit!

It doesn't even come close to fitting! The wastegate runner is completely in the way of the steering shaft! Dammit! My alternatives now are try to find someon who can modify it to fit (it's ceramic coated stainless BTW) or replace it entirely with a new manifold & downpipe & modify my intercooler piping! This sucks!!!

I put up a request, but it's going to be a PITA for whoever, as they'll need the car & the manifold & the manifold is Jet-hot ceramic coated, making re-welding it a real chore!

Here's a link to some pics on RSW...

Tell some of those punks to get in touch with me, please!

I got one of my local friends to fix it...did a pretty good job too, considering the lack of space down there to work with. Ditching my A/C helped out a lot with that! Looks like it's all going to work out, too bad it wasn't designed to work on USDM cars...
