You know how hard of a decision this is to me? Now everybody is going to pull out there Fanboy card like it was the Ace of Spades! Yeah, you heard me, Fanboy should be a term only used amongst gamers because this is a UGLY war... (Refering to Youtube, YTMND, 4Chan, GiaOnline bashing).

Personally, I have been Sony bias for the longest time. I stayed faithful to the concept but the controller is GETTING OLD. Yes, you heard that from a Sony Fanboy!

I love the XBOX360, because it renders HALO 2 WAY BETTER THEN THE ORIGINAL XBOX! Take that Microsoft. Aside from Bungies Blockbuster hit, I enjoy Forza and the S14 KA-T 713BHP 240SX on the uphill climbs... Keep in mind these are still original XBOX games...

Now, the Nintendo Wii. I hate it... I HATE I HATE I HATE... Why do you ask? Because the Controller is absolutely brilliant! If you ever get within a 1 mile radius of a Gamestop, walk in and demo the Wii... It's a science... Toy around with the interface, leave a memo, play the stupid 4x4 game... Just wait until you get a chance to play Red Steel where your a Samurai swinging that remote around like you were swatting blindly into the air. Take out the gun and shoot down your enemies!

Overall, I want the Nintendo Wii out of all of them for its affordablility. The capabilities are very limited, a single media bay. Either that or the PS3 for its superior graphics and cell technology. DID ANYONE KNOW YOU COULD INSTALL LINUX, OR EVEN WINDOWS VISTA ONTO THE PLAYSTATION 3!?

Yeah, thats the ticket... I want the Playstation 3 because it comes with: a 1000$ Blu-Ray Drive, Bluetooth, a cell-processor (give it up, its the future), Capability to install Windows Vista, and you get the lame dual-shock controller (actually called 6-axis). It's Sony's "Computer Entertainment System." Period...

Now I am going to sit around and CRY because I won't get one for less then "599 U.S. Dollars."

I have a 360 already, and I'm mildly impressed with it. Gears of War is the first game that looks like a killer app.

Come this time next week, I'll be hours into my adventure with Link.

360 chyea. Dynamite online play, plenty of original titles, awesome computing power *yet to see anything on any system that looks any better*.

Eventually Wii. Will wait to see if they get more titles. I could imagine that controller being a pretty fun thing to use drunk.

Still waiting to see what the PS3 turns out to be. I've got a shaking suspicion it might just flop, Sony has boggled this release so poorly. Plus I don't want to spend 600$ on that shiz.

Oh and for those skeptical on the Wii-mote and how it will effect gameplay for games such as Zelda...Check out Gamespy's review. All is perfect. In fact that's the score they gave it. A perfect 5 stars. I CAN'T WAIT TIL SUNDAY!

I plan on getting the PS3 when Gran Turismo HD (GT5) comes out. I think I may get a Wii at the end of next year when the price drops some more, even though its already cheap. I've heard nothing but good things about it from the people that have actually used the remote. I think when people actually try it out, they'll enjoy it. And I've never been impressed with any of the X-Box's.

it's amazing, some of these consoles and packages can buy you a running 240...

the wii looks like a mac, haha

i'd wait until a second version comes out for any consoles, with all these very complex tech goodies, alot of them are rushing to get them out in the market, that could mean alot of bugs

I already got an Xbox 360. In fact, I'm a PS fan that switched to Xbox. In my opinion, Sony seems like its running dry on original content (sub par "six axis" controller that was suddenly created before E3 and a xbox live marketplace rip off)

Overall, I think that PS3 needs to offer more than a blu-ray drive and game franchieses that I have found to be boring after such a long run on PS and PS2.

I will be purchasing a Wii after the holiday season, I will give it some time to see if the "wii mote" is just a gimmick.

Don't get me wrong, I still love my games. I will be purchasing a PS3 as well in a couple years after some sort of massive price drop.

For now, I will enjoy my 360. Forza 2 will be great.

i just got a 360 2 weeks ago and its soo much fun. i watch all my computer videos on it through media center, its great. xbox live is awesome too. i've yet to play my old xbox games on it to see if theres a difference though. the ps3 sounds like it has alot of cool gadgets but come on who will use them all. and to be honest nothing ps has attracts me but gt. im not into resident evil or devil may cry or ff. wii dont know anything about. will have to pass by a gamestop or something and play it.

What about an installation of a new OS like Windows Vista? Look at the PSP and how it gets new features every update... I think Sony is trying to make the PS3 like that... The whole "what can't it do?" type thing.

i found that the psp updates were mostly just to slow/extremely limit pirating more than adding unique updates to thier handheld..(yes, WMA support was nice) although going online through wifi on my psp has made it easier for me to look up some stuff while i was in a library without a laptop. From my observation, the PSP is more of a "homebrew" device to many owners around my area more than a legit gaming system.

unfortunately, i'm not looking for another piece of hardware to watch "next gen" movies on or surf the internet. i have my computer for that. thats why i'm fond of nintendo's outlook on gaming and i my experience on xbox live has been great (i've been a member since the service first started).

i really cant wait for Wii. Red Steel looks quite impressive and the new Zelda is def on its way to game of the year status. im glad to see a company actualy design a new controller rather than following old pattern designs (ahem...sony!!) and at a $250 price tag most can afford this innovative system

i will try and score a PS3 but only to resell to those nuts on ebay

but other than that im rather satisfied with my old game systems
