what would be the best route to get into those times with a 180sx? i could do the sr20 swap or i have access to KA's that i could get completly rebuilt then turbo. what to do? what other mods will be neccessasay(sp?). what will this aproximatly cost? btw....this is a long term goal so dont knock me plz. i could buy aanother Z32 or mod the S13...im starting to like the s13 though <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/satisfied.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':satisfied:'>

Well lets see, get the KA-T if you have a 91+ 89-90 it isent really worth it, get a new computer from JW and get new pistons and cams and rods (low COMPRESSION PISTONS like 8.5:1) and then up the boost and get the standard bolt ons, and you might be near their, cuz more than likley you will be running around 300HP depending on where you set the boost

I would say mod the s13.You have to get new pistons and rods and if you want real power.Port polish bore and re-ring.Then put a good size turbo like a straight TO4E ball bearing turbo and crank that boost up to about 15psi+ and rip it open.Civickilla did a 13.34 at 14-15 psi on a small t28 ball bearing turbo on his sr and only laid down 246hp with 270 ft/lbs of torque.That is only imo.

thats weird. &nbsp;I thought SR produce more horsepower than torque due to the smaller engine size. &nbsp;I would expect those numbers from a KA-T not an SR. &nbsp;But, of course I mighht be wrong

boost in any motor is possible to get into the 12's

i ran a 12.3 at 22psi on street tires
u can get into the 12's with the sohc with slicks with like 15psi
and higher boost without slicks
so it is possible and can be done in any motor. some may need more work than others.
