tranny problem

hey guys i search but could not find an answer. heres my problem, when i start my car up and drive it, my tranny would grind really bad. i would have to shift really slow to get it into gear, but after a couple of miles when the the tranny warms up, shifting becomes normal again with no grinds. what can cause this?

How's the tranny fluid? Old, bad, dirty...? I recommend 1qt Redline 75w90 and 1qt of lightweight shockproof oil.
