around 520 pounds and the ka is roughly about 490, those are just rough ideas of it

VG is heavy, I know that for a fact.

Took... 4 or 6 of us to lift a short block out of the bed of a pick up truck. And minus me, the other guys are not exactly weaklings, so I'm gonna venture out to say it's about 600-700 pounds for a fully dressed VG w/ tranny.

The 300zx z32 transmissions weighs 35 pounds more I think. Trans=beast. Rest of the motor=beast. That thing is a frickin pig.

2 turbos 2 manifolds 2 dump tubes, 2 more pistons extra block space, wider crank, it has to weigh alot

try like 720 with intercoolers, piping, wiring, etc.

and thats why I want to find a non t top 300zx and put a vq30 in it with some of them turbo thingies or a vq35 with a blower. (wait, ls1!!!!)

its a decent chassis weighted down by a gigamormus motor and to much luxury bs and over complications. Hince why the z33 is such a simple car and much more popular. Simplicity=for the win!

I was just quoted "about 600lbs" by someone who sells them on ebay. Add the tranny to that figure and you have your answer.
