jic coilovers with camber plates

first off id like to know what kind these are. heres a pic.

ill have more, but my d-cam died on me.

also one of the front camber plates doesnt have that small knob to adjust something. its the thing right on top where u turn. i guess its for softness or hardness??? it clicks only 4 times left and right.

also one of the camber plates moves freely. r they supposed to be pretty stiff and not move on the coilovers? this is my first set of coilovers with camber plates.

yup, look like A1's to me too. That's not a 'camber plate' missing something, thats the damper adjustment. You might be able to adjust the damper by sticking something in there to turn the 'blade' lookin thing that actually goes into the shock, but it's iffy. I'd either run em how they are if none are blown, or ditch em for cheap.

cool. i got them cheap. theyre not blown or anything. i forgot about the IDENTIFY THIS THREAD. also i had other questions to ask. so is it still ok to use if the camber plate moves freely? or is there a way to tighten it up?

we must be looking at two seperate things... If the camber plate can move freely, then NO, you can't use em... it looked to me like the camber bolts were ok, and the adjuster on the right-most coilover was what was missing.

I just looked at my order and I had ordered FLT-A1's, but mine are inverted monotube ones with the adjustment on top...and have purple springs? Maybe mine are newer, weird.

no hes not missing the dampening adjuster, the far right and far left are the front coilovers which can have their dampening adjusted from the bottom of the coilover, however it does like like u need to tighten the nut on the far right coilover, if look carefully at the far left you can see threads past the nut, but not so on the right, that could be why the camber plate is loose.

You are getting moooar coil overs? let me know by p/ming me.

As far as the pillow ball, it is ok to use. It might make noise when braking/turning hard if its dying.

You can have them replaced by JIC in 562.
