Me and my Sil80 Intro... with PICS!
Hi...
My name is Nitin and I spend quite a bit of time on Freshalloy but thought I would start joining in on the conversations over here as well... I've lurked on here for a while and know some of you already but for those who don't know me, here is the short version... I've got about 10 years car experience under me between Civics and 240SXs... I'm a massive DIYer that has done just about everything from fabricating dashboards to motor swaps to working nights at a bodyshop... I started building show cars but ended up moving over to the roadcourse after the scene got flooded and cheesy... Here are some pics of my last two cars and my current car... My Civic from a couple years ago... Super healthy H22A under the hood...   and here is my last Sil80... Standard double duty daily driver/weekend track car...      and here is my current project... Intended to chase M3s and S2000s all day long... Painted Mercedes Silver with 17x9s on the way, a rebuilt KA with a twin scroll EVO8 turbo, and a thorough run through the suspension and this thing should be hitting the track before the summer... I do all the work myself and document everything as I go... I'm sure you will catch my short "How tos" that I enjoy to put together... Here are some random pics of the car coming together...             Just wanted to say hi... Let me know what you think... |

If you gave a little more descriptions on the work you did, I'm sure the mods won't lock this.
It could deserve to be its own thread, but everyone is probably already writing hateful OMG NOOB posts telling you to post in the PIC THREAD. I like it. You actually painted your car.

welcome, i hope you dont take things too seriously around here, cuz you need to be lighthearted to like this place. your car looks good, one of the few people that seem to do things right the first time. Dont get mad if this thread gets locked because we here at zilvia like to organize things and not clutter up space with 5 million picture threads. dont get offended, because some might yell at you to post in the pic thread and new member thread stickied at the top. again welcome and enjoy your stay

Nitin's a cool cat who knows his shiet. IIRC he's building a ka-t with an evo twin scroll turbo with an enthalpy tune. This setup should kick ass.

did you beadblast those suspension parts and powdercoat them? nice job on the ES bushings.. i still have to do my rear.. front is entirely done but i wish i cleaned up all the arms prior to putting them back, just ran out of time..

Hurry on the write up, I'm curious to see the Evo turbo on the Ka ( BTW SOHC OR DOHC??) look like u gonna have to custom made ur manifold. good job so far tho. C
