Missing plugs from fuse box 4m sohc to dohc swap

just threw a dohc into my 89 240. i wired it all up but the car has absolutly no power going to ANYTHING. Not even the lights. As if it didnt even have a battery althoughThe battery is brand new and is charged.

The fuse box has a couple of plugs that are missing that are sopposed to come from what my guess is the lower harness.

My question is When you swap from sohc to dohc do you use the sohc lower harness for the plugs that go to the fuse box or all lower harnesses are the same exact thing???

If thats the case, has anyone had this problem and solved it? Any suggestions, comments, anything!!!

I have checked the grounds no less than 10 times. I tried the in diffrent locations and still no luck.

Thanks in advanced!!!!

Lower harnesses are not the same, but either will work, you'll just have to trim up the SOHC harness since most of the leads are longer.

I would recommend using the lower/ trans harness that came with your car. In order to get power you MUST have the accessory wires going to the fusible links connected. Also, make sure your main fuse is good. SOHC and DOHC lower harnesses are similar and are compatible with a few minor changes. The most important difference is the black connector that is near the fuse box. Either one is 12V+ to the alternator and one is ground, or they are both alternator 12V+.
