Plain and simple cats.  I'm nearing the stage of buying the car and I'm starting to buy parts now.  Goodside to it.  The car is within reach.  Downside is that the only performance I find out there is an FMAX/XS engineering turbo kit.  And everyone keeps mentioning this elusive NISMO, can't find anything but a shift knob and carpet for it.  Everything is SR20DET this and Swap that.  Anything for the good ole KA24DE?  Throw me a friggin' bone here please.   <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':crazy:'>

Intake: Hotshot, AEM, Injen
Headers: Hotshot, GReddy
Underdrive pulleys: Unorthodox racing
Exhaust: Blitz, Apexi, Tanabe, Trust, GReddy
Short shifter: Nismo, C's, B&M, OBX
Wires: aurora, ngk, accel
Turbo kits: Fmax, XS engineering, Nsport

NISMO (Nissan Motorsports) has yet to come stateside, but should be here fairly shortly.

guidot pretty much covered your basis though.  You aren't going to see big HP numbers unless you go with a turbo kit, OR have TONS of money to throw into a heavily and godly tuned NA 2.4 litre KA24DE engine (but you will still see more out of a turbo kit).
