5 pin tps??? WTF

ok so my mechanic said my throttle position sensor has to have 5 pins in it but everywhere i searched said its suppose to have 3 pins.??? ive been having major issues with getting car my running this past few months due to a faulty TPS. My sr20 one that came with the car was messed up so i used a ka24de one but my car still choked and died while idling. a few shops and people tried helping me out but i just ended up buying the wrong throttle body and sensor. they claimed it was the sr20 one but each time i brought it to my mechanic he said it would not work?

it would be great if u guys can help me out here.. thanks.
