i want to take the brake out of a car in the junk yard...can i do it or does the car need to be lifted....does it bolt off? i want it beacause i am going to be doing the auto to manual swap and do not wish to cutt the pedal,

It will unbolt without much fuss.  One main bolt that acts as a pivot point, the other is where it attaches to the brake booster (actually a lock nut).  An assortment of wrenches, screwdriver, and flashlight should do you fine judging by what I saw and remember from the exploded diagram in the FSM, though I've never pulled one before.

yeah, i pulled the one off my 240 that i parted out and it wasnt too difficult at all. Should pretty much just unbolt and come right off. Just might be a pain in the ass to get in there. Mine was a hell of a lot easier since I had pulled out the whole dash already.
