are s13 blacktop and redtop maf interchangeable? i know ka sohc maf can be used in place of s13 sr maf but it has to be repinned/spliced. how about blacktop and redtop mafs? the same?

repinned/spliced? I'm using a single cam maf, was no big deal to get it plugged in. I believe all the SR MAFS are the same (S13/S14/S15), but I'm sure that the S13 ones are interchangeable.

hmm i thought some wires had to be flipped around or some minor modification was needed. thats strange..

i need a definite answer and no results in search.. but thinking about that.. a maf is a maf right? if z32 can be used with just some wire splice why can't an s13 blacktop and redtop work? i know the wiring harness is different, but should bolt up even if minor splicing to the maf plug is needed.

They are interchangeable. I put a blacktop maf on a redtop and worked fine. Im sure it would work viceversa.

s14/s15 sr maf read different than the s13 maf's if i recall the later model blacktop has a different plug
