Im kinda bored so im thinkin of using one of my spare chevy pickup grille inserts from a smoothie bumper for the base of a custom grille.

ill post sum pics when i start but the pic above is sample of what the grille looks like stock. the grille is the perfect height and will kinda give it a s13 gtr grille look i think, depending if i paint it black when im done. tell me what ya guys think of the idea

thats y i like what im doing cause it cost nothing and its not gonna damage anything factory and if i dont like it the stock grille goes back on =)

ya im not tooooo sure but hey its just a extra part i had laying around from a different project and i work for toyota so sometimes i have todo PDI grille installs on TCs and other stuff. i was like i wounder if i can make a billet grille look good in my s14 so i will find out 2morrow =)

Well i decided make the grille tonight and im not to sure about it. it fits great but im trying to adjust to the look of it.

You should paint it black and sand the face of it off so you can just see the front of the horizontal lines. then polish it. you know what I mean? and it would maybe look a little better on an S13 with a silvia frontend.

There's paint on ebay I can't remember what its called but its supposed to black chrome your emblems... I think that would look badass. Set it in a little further too, more of a sunken look

uhh, black clearcoat? haha.

but yeah. black chrome = chrome + black clearcoat

also that grill sucks and you should throw it as hard as you can at your front windshield to teach yourself a lesson

lol its already off my car i wasnt sure how it was gonna look it was just a experiment to see what it would look like. I also wanted to see what zilvia and some of my friends would say lol. So far funniest comment is that it looks like a caprice
