Pop-up headlight problems when cold
Hello all. I have a question regarding my pop-up headlights. Whenever it's cold, I have trouble getting my headlights to popup or go down. Once the car warms up, it usually works. Unfortunately, after allowing the car to warm up for a few minutes tonight, I was unable to get the lights to popup. I'm thinking that the motors are going out, since the lights make a rough noise (maybe grinding) when I put them back down. But wouldn't this be weird for both motors to have this problem at the same time? Anyone have any other ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

if you bothered to check your owner's manual, it warns you that this may happen in cold weather,
and that was when the car was brand new. the motors aren't bad, they're just freezing cold. the owner's manual tells you to keep them popped during winter so you won't run into this problem. check your manual first, or you'll end up getting flamed dude. |

just hit the popup button once the car is warmed up, and leave them up until it's warm again. |
