r32 conversion fender gap

has anyone found a way to get around this?

stolen from yokotas13

i know import fan sells conversion fenders, but i hate fiberglass amd id hate to pay like 350, if they even ahve them in stock.

how difficult would cutting and welding the s13 and r32 fenders?

any input would be great

S13 fenders fit just fine, and don't look stupid. The body lines even match up.

making metal r32 fenders "line up" = 1000 dollars

buying fiberglass ones that fit(kinda) = 350 dollars

you do the math

Thank you again zilvia for being so helpful and friendly...

on a serious note, it would cost alot to make those fenders line up.

aerokits.net carries the fiberglass conversion that's made by gtp (importfan), but probably doesn't fit to well. i don't really think there is an easy way around this one. there is always a way to do something, but sometimes it just happens to cost more than most people are willing to pay. honestly, i kinda like the conversion, but i know alot of people on here don't. Whatever you decide to do good luck.

you need a conversion fender. or take your stock metal r32 fender, cut it in half, and weld on the rear half of the s13 fender on it; then do some body work.

edit: opps, just read your post. it wont be hard, it just takes money and time.

I've welded fenders together from 2 different cars and it is a lot more work than you can imagine...

It sounds like you are just getting a deal on a front end so you want to put it on... I don't think you are understanding how much more this is going to cost you to get done...

Put mesh or something in the space and put wide fenders on the back... Same space the S13.4 conversion has

Dude, MESH solves ERRRTHING!

is that a dent in your quarter panel?
Rivets + MESH.

is that a crack in your dash?
Double Sided tape + MESH.

is that ticking from your engine?
wrap that shit in MESH till the sound goes away.

I have never and will never own a Honda

It can be done to look alright... with two different lines like that mesh isn't gunna be what makes it look like ass.
I'd recommend all your free time and a body hammer to line it up perfect but this would be easier and cheaper
^~~Just a stab in the dark... neither of you have ever done a widebody on a car without fiberglass before have you

Has anyone done a R32 headlight swap into a S14 chasis? I've seen it done on one S14 ...just the headlights and no corners...but not in person, just pics. The sizing seems to be pretty close so i figured it should be pretty easy?

I've seen R33 headlights in a s14, they look weird... like odd gaps and spacing

R33 headlights on an S14 looks as stupid as an R32 front end on a 240sx.

Both look nice IMO if done right, but when talking about 240 owners, whom typically operate under a budget, the right way is rarely followed.

I wanted R33 headlamps for awhile as they are one peice, projectors and have clear lenses but without the tips of the Skyline fenders or proper mounts, it would look very tacky, and the money to obtain those isn't worth it to me right now.

I wrote a guide to cleaning/smoking the Zenki lamps which helped some on my car, but my ultimate goal will either be Germans, FK covers + Audi HID's or go with an S15 (meh) front-end.
