Lots of Vibration from front wheels - S14

Hey guys, after balancing my wheels twice, I still have a lot of vibration between 55-65 mph. What do you think it could be? I am running coilovers with 18's. Thanks in advance.

What it might be is something common. When you try to balance large wheels with low pro tires there is always gonna be a short range of speed where it vibrates. I think it is called a high speed balance. I've ran into the same problem several times working at a Toyota store.

Does the car pull to either left or right? Could also just be defective tires of you tried balancing twice already. Did you also try balancing tires at high and low spots.

I had the same exact thing before I pulled my motor, I found that one of my motor mounts was completely severed. It wasn't connected to the car at all. Check those out.

Mine only shook between those same speeds as well.

My fronts are 235-40's and I am not running spacers. I know I DO need to get an allignment, so maybe I will do that today. Could it also be worn bushings? I didnt feel pull/vibration with my stockers though...

Ya... or more likely ball joints, t.r.ends. Maybe wheel bearings.

1) Wheels are not balanced properly
2) Flat spots on tires
3) Car needs an alignment
4) Worn Ball joints
5) Bad wheel bearings.

That list goes from most likely to least likely. First, I would make sure your wheels are balanced correctly, if you have a lot of miles on them (5000+) they may need to be re-balanced. Also, if you're running coilovers, you could just be picking up road vibration. That's the price you pay when you run C/O's. On these shitty CA freeways, My car is a rolling box of vibration..

i experienced this before. i started checking things out from outside-inside

wheel balance (possible your wheels are bent, use another pair of tires and see how it goes)
check for rotors for any warping and brake pads
check for any play with your outer tie rods
wheel alignments
check for steering rack w/ steering rack bushings
then last....engine mounts

let me know and update us

Ya thanks for all the input. I know my rack is wasted, I need an alignment and MAYBE the tires are junk. I guess I can start with those things. I'll keep you informed.
