is it my radiator sensor?
I've barely had this problem, when i turn on my car and i drive for like 15 minutes the heat of the car barely goes over the C and it stays like that even when i drive for like an hour, and when i make a turn it goes to normal. its really weird, i dunno if thats how its supposed to be or not. someone help?
im really tired of it too, my last engine blew up on me. dont want this to happen again |

There are two sensors related to your cooling system. Both are located on the upper water neck on your intake manifold, right on top of everything and in the front. One of them is a single male blade-type sensor, and the other is a two-wire harness clip. The single is the coolant temperature sending unit - it tells your gauge where to point. The other is the coolant temperature sensor, and it monitors the actually temp of the water in your system.
Check the blade-type connector, the sending unit, for proper connection. It's very easy for those blades to snap off and thus the wiring harness no longer makes contact with the sending unit. If it IS connected still, replace it. They're about 25 bucks at a dealership. |
