I was looking to buy an aftermarket 100mm throttle body off ebay and was wondering if there any down sides to them? Supposedly it is completely bolt on with no modification as opposed to the 90mm q45. How does it affect performance?

not much since the flange is still 60mm or whatever.

you need to cut and reweld to make it work right.
