hey guys, I recently just finished with my S13 build.

We just got the motor started and noticed some strange electrical problems.

1) Each turn signal works, but the hazard lights don't work.

2) The headlight will go up, and it will also turn on, but it will not go back down. (When the headlights are turned on though, I don't think I see the turn signals light up. (it has jdm half clears) The cluster also does not turn on when the headlights are on.

3) When i turn the turn the key in the ignition once, only the left side of my cluster lights up.

If anyone has had something similar happen to them, please let me know.

Any comments or suggestions would definitely be appreciated.

Try tightening your ECU plug a little snugger. If it's not tightend down all the way it can cause all kinds of crazy electrical problems.

sounds kind of like a 240 coupe i was just recently looking at over the weekend, his 240 coupe had electrical problems too. When i turned the engine on the lights were able to turn on but when turned off it wont go down as well, also heater wont blow, cluster doesnt work or light up, back brake lights dont work also. Hopefully if someone with problems like this has resolved it before could give us some advice on these problems, other than that the car starts up fine, sounds fine.
