I know tons of things are SR/KA interchangeable and I don't see why the piping wouldn't be almost exactly interchangeable. Is this a good assumption that they're almost identical?

what intercooler piping?? stock? aftermarket? be more specific.

Stock SR piping - would it work on a KA-T? I am running a S14 KA with a T28.

You would need a S13SR piping to work with the KA intake manifold

yea the intake manifold sits different. you have to mod.

So piping from a S13 SR will fit on a S14 KA in my S13 hatch? I'm going to look into it.
