it's not rotas or sportmax, real wheels are never cheap
and you're looking at the 3 piece set in 18x10 sizes, scroll down and change the sizes for different prices |

it's not just expensive, you can't even buy them if you have the money.
it's a 4 to 6 month wait from japan. gotta pay to play.

you can get them almost completely custom too. I've seen them in 3 lug on Smart cars, and in 17x10 + 5 in 4x100.

I can't believe your asking about work wheels and then be surprise to find out that their expensive. OMG......
Their great quality wheels and that's what people who buy them want. Plus the name Work super wheels makes the women's panties drop quick. Realize the game and look into your heart to find out if your ready for the next level of ballerness or go get the knockoff versions and fail at life. |

if you put together a car with junks, it's a pile of junk.
most people who don't know shit about cars will say nice car, people who does will just look down at you. you get what you paid for, just prioritize what's important to you on the car and spend the money for good stuff there 1st. for me is brake i spend over $1,500 just on brakes, there's no such thing is overkill on brakes.

brakes are very important, but tires are more important. your brakes are absolutely useless, unless they have a good set of tires to match. but what i am saying, i dont need to talk to sam - sam knows his shit (except with lights) :-) |

225/40/18 RE01R
265/35/18 RE01R waiting for wheels to match it. currently running on dunlop dz101 not bad for street, but rather get something better. what's your favorite tire mike and why?

i chose to minimize unsprung weight as much as possible, since its a canyon car and the car has been stripped to the bone. 16x8 demon camber with wilwood 4POT front, Z32 2POT rear. the Z32 alum brake setup was decent, but I've out-ran them before. i figure the better quality wilwood setup should be superior and since they still clear 16", i'm OK. i sold the OE Z33 brembos because they were heavy as shit. i think the 16" setup should be sticky enough, and the brakes should be strong enough to endure my abuse. if not, well.. then i'll go with a 17x10 setup, with appropriate brakes and even wider F&R tires. For now, I chose a fairly modest setup just to play with as i am still getting the car up and running. i've stuck with bridgestone for years now, the most predictable tires around. wear is even, noise is reasonable, wet performance is very good. most importantly, they offer consistent grip throughout their lifespan, which to me.. shows a very well engineered tire. i've tried tires that are good when new, but turn to shit as soon as they get worn. not to mention, they can endure the heat and dont fall apart when driven hard (ie: track). too bad more tire sizes arent available, but look forward to newer (larger) sizes as they become available. shit, not to mention... introductory pricing was AMAZING. Nice timing, because I was going to switch to Neova AD07. |
