S14 cupholders?

I read somewhere in a nissan 240sx article that the S14 comes with a cup holder?

if so, where?

I just put my drink in the slot between the shifter and the center console compartment.

Is there supposed to be a drop in cup holder in there?

I had a drop in divider. But it still wasnt really a cup holder...though at times I did have some cups in there.

96 and up s14 has a divider for that slot that slides out.
you'll need to get the center console from a 96 and up and order the divider.
or if you want pay someone alot of money and fiberglass a drink holder that'll fit into that slot converting it into real drink size.

Remove whatever crap you have in your center tray.

Place drink.

Instant cup holder.

I use a can sized Air freshener to take up half the space.

I can fit most drinks in the extra space.

The divider mentioned was only available in 97-98 models, it's simply a thin sheet of plastic, dealer price is like $24. Problem is it puts the cup right in the way of shifting.

Check this ebay item. It is the DIN type for your S14. EastCoasts14 is right. I also reading some thread about these, well here's the product.

Only buy bottled drinks, then it can roll around anywhere and not spill. Problem is finding it later

both of my 96 came with it, I also notice they both had the knob as power mirror control.

96-98s do have the newer mirror switch, but I didn't see the divider until 97. Even the 1996 dealer brochure doesn't show a picture of it.

Someone pointed this out to me but bottles in japan are square. Technically our cup holders are for jdm drinks, not round us drinks

have a bottle? and throw it on the pass seat, i rarely have other drinks in my car(fast food) and i end up just putting those between my legs until i get home, or if they fit in the square area i'll put it in there, but they flop around when you have it like that

i never knew about the pull out cup holder... neat, but no need for it
