I was wondering if anyone out there has done a sr20det swap and had problems with emission testing.  Anyone live in NC and had this done?  Also, does anyone know where I could go around the Durham/Raleigh area to have a swap done professionally.  Possibly even buying the motor etc from the shop!  Any help would be great!  Thanks!

japanese motors don't come with all the wonderful emissions crap that our american cars do.  federally the swap is illegal.  you would have to check with your local DMV to see if it is legal in your state.

it is "illegal" but with a healthy engine and cat you will pass no sweat.
