just use common sense...

do you have a KA engine manual? go buy one, it should tell you in step by step order, even a chiltons would work.

are you using oem or metal?

dont use metal unless your planning on 400hp + worth of air.

oem is always the best soultion for moderate levels of boost.

remove all the emission stuff from the intake and what not. replace all the other gaskets. and id see if i could buy a cheap header since youll have the old one off. and change head studs. and change thermostat water pump, belts.

^^ yeah im getting a chiltons....are those shitty manuals? I ordered one from autozone today and thats all they have...also i only want the 200-250whp range...i was thinking of getting a cometic but you think i should just get an OEM?

The water pump thermostat belts and plugs were all replaced recently

theres full gasket replacement sets on ebay for $49 anyone use these or recommend where i should get them?

chiltons is like, the green eggs and ham of manuals. step up to crime and punishment. get an FSM. they're all over the net for download, or you can get one off of egay.

As long as you have some basic knowledge of what you're doing, the Chiltons manual is alright as a guide. For the $25 you pay, it's helpful.

Personally, I would just replace all the gaskets since you got the head torn apart anyway. Then you know they're all good, and you don't have to deal with replacing one, that you just had off, 4 months in the future or something.

There's plenty of links that have been posted in past threads on here that have FSM's for download for free...
