Anyone have aftermarket lower control arms.

I've decided on replacing my LCA's because my driver side is warped in the rear. I've decided either on either the Battle Version or Orange Tree sets. Anyone know what I can expect after i install them? What are the advantages? What would you recommend?

here is a picture of the battle version and orange tree:

batttle version is the orange tree
my friend has them
but ...do you NEED them? or just want them.

unless its a full race car w/ a sweet setup, i would save the cash
its a nice thing to hvae, but its not necessary.

even non race cars can benefit...if they are dropped significantly.

when you drop a car all the suspension links become much more angled which will significantly alter handling, primarily because of the lowering of the roll center, but also due to the change in camber curve as well as other considerations.

with adjustable LCA's you can space the LCA down some, which will at least help out with the roll center...you still have the upper linkages all angled, but at least the LCA wont be so bad.

worth the money for the street....NOT.....but never-the-less you DO get something useful for your money.

btw- those arms look sheisty as hells...completely UN beefy, just like all the battle version stuff....i def wouldnt run those on the streets......on a smoothe track they're probably fine, but with nasty bumps on the street you're kinda asking for it

Some nice pieces to have on a wish list but not needed for the street. The spherical bearing will eventually wear out and have play. Even on the track with constant banging on the zebra zones can and will still wear out the sb and its worse on f'd up streets. Nice pieces tho'.
