hi-flow cat passing smog?
I was wondering if those of you with hi-flow cats have passed smog in california with them? i need a new cat and was gonna grab a hi-flow cat for cheap but just wanted to see if they pass smog normally. thanks for any help

Mine wouldn't but that doesn't mean yours won't. You do need to make sure that you purchase a 3-way cat for testing in California and most, if not all, of the high flow cats I have seen are 2-way (the catalyst).
Hopefully someone that has passed will let you know what they ran. |

i got a cheap ($50) 3in in/out 4inch around cat off ebay. i replaced a test pipe with it and it made NO diferance at all. its also OBD2 compliant. the catalyst is only about 5 inches long.
