The tranny shakes a little at all times, its pretty constant, i figured this was normal for the car...

THe steering wheel shakes around 55mph in 5th...

Is this also normal?  Is there a way to reduce it?  Its definately controlable, but its very irritating.

regarding the shifter shaking, this is normal. The stock shifter is very sloppy, if you want to get rid of it, a short shifter or solid shifter is probably your only way to remedy this... if that's what you're talking about. regarding the steering wheel shaking, there's another thread on this page with the same exact question. Check there.
