cops have always been patrolling HWY9 before any "racing" or "spirited driving" along their. Tresspassing and curfews were long in effect before all this.

It's too bad, there are a few guys who are actually really fast on those roads. My cousin runs a bunch of them (Blacks, Skyline, 236, Bear Creek, etc...) to have some fun late at night (but he does it pretty responsibly), he doesn't need these idiots ruining it for him, and all of us who live around there...

Yah this hwy 9, 35, 4 corners, 85 pescadero, all have been in high alert. I used to race up there, motorcycle though and was really fast, crashed 3 times, but then stopped and did the track thing. Its a good place to tune in your skills, but still be smart about it. Eh, don't do that stuff any more nowadays.... O and this was about 5 years ago

Yea i do 9 runs every moring on my bike. Just drag in the corners and chill in the hot spots, but damn there is cops up there 24/7 now.

please explain "responsibly" to me. that has to be the most ignorant comment Ive heard, and makes you sound stupid. When he races does he have barriers around, make sure there are no pedestrians around, have a EMS on standby in case of injury?

I agree with that but keep in mind you can still have fun in the mountains without being dangerous/ irresponsible. For instance. My 929 has dunlop slicks on it, full race setup suspension settings, geared down, blah, blah, blah. Anyways this bike is setup for handling. It will still do almost 100 in first but i prefer to just keep the revs low and cruise through the course. Thats why i was pissed that these guys bring cops around. Because eventhough i only race on the track, the cops still profile anything that looks fast, and then they will fuck with us.

He runs any one of those roads a couple times a week, sometimes with some buddies of his. He goes up there usually around 12:30am, so if he hits anything it'll be a deer, only guns it in areas where there aren't many houses, slows down if he sees headlights coming, knows where the cops usually hide, and doesn't try to be seen as a pain in the ass to anyone living up there. I'm not ignorant to the fact that "safe" on a mountain road isn't really that safe, but you do what you can to reduce the likelyhood of making a mess while taking a spirited drive. Sorry if I came off sounding like a ignoramus...

So do you need the lic. plate of the white civic? I don't think that doing burnouts is cool on the streets. My gosh, that is what the track or strip is for. You drive on the streets and race on the track. Enough said.

Profiling sucks. I might as well speed and drift everywhere I go because some cops will treat you like you are anyways.

I always see these dumn ass MFs when I am in my 03' accord. Actin' a fool and all...same guy wont approch my car when I am in my SR hatch. Unless they are the REALLY dumn breed and are all like, YEAH BOY LETS DO THIS. Then you can drive normal and they wont leave you alone. So you might light them up with a quick downshift but they wont to keep racing through trafic on the freeway when you let off.

Not sure what to do or to say. It just make it hard for people who daly drive there ride and track race...cause now a cop will pull me over just for the type of car I drive and I could be fucked.
